Mexican Food Catering Options

Protein

Carnitas – literally means “little meats”.  Carnitas are made by braising or simmering pork in lard until tender.

Al Pastor – Al pastor is a pork-based meat that is marinated in a combination of dried chilies, spices, and pineapple.

Carne Asada – is grilled and sliced beef, usually sirloin steak, tenderloin steak or rib steak. It is accompanied by a delicious charred flavor.

Grilled Chicken– For those “non risk takers”, grilled chicken is always a perfect option!

Fajita Veggie– For those vegetarians that still want a delicious taco, or to add to any of your meats.

Platters

Tortas – It’s a sandwich that typically contains meat garnished with mashed avocado, a sandwich spread made of black beans or refried beans, pickled jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and an onion.  (It’s a mexican hamburger)

Crispy Tacos –  A crispy (fried) corn tortilla folded in half to hold a filling such as meat, vegetables, cheese, etc.

Salad – To make up for all the meat and cheese you will be eating! Fresh greens with veggies.

Rice – A perfect side to your taco or throw it inside for some texture.

Black Beans – A meatless protein option and also a great side to your meal.

Pinto Beans – They say you can tell the quality of a taco shop by its beans. Our beans are some of the best in town.

Mini Taquitos – means “small taco” and is a dish that consists of a small rolled-up fried tortilla that contains filling, including beef, cheese or chicken.

Enchiladas –  a corn tortilla rolled around a filling and covered with a chili pepper sauce. Enchiladas can be filled with a variety of meats, cheese, beans, potatoes, vegetables or combinations.

Chiles Rellenos – are chiles filled with varieties of cheeses. The chile is then dipped in an egg batter and either pan-fried or deep-fried.

Mini Bean and Cheese Burritos – Tortillas filled with beans and cheese and then rolled up into a perfect hand held appetizer.

Pico de Gallo – Basically a salsa made from chopped tomato, onion, cilantro, fresh serranos, salt, and lime juice.

Orange Salsa – Our signature Taco Bar Catering orange salsa is a spicy lovers dream. Bold and got a kick, a must try.

Green Salsa –  is a thin salsa that is good for dipping chips or pouring on top of a burrito.

Red Salsa – Same as the green salsa, but hotter in spice level.

Chips – A great combo with the salsa or guacamole!

Guacamole – a mexican staple made of mostly mashed avocados with spices- great to add to everything!

Sour Cream – will make your meal creamier and tastier

Cheese – can be sprinkled on top of anything!

Planning a casual party? You do the decor, we will worry about the food.  With our standard drop off, we provide platters of your choice, utensils, and serving utensils. When we arrive, we will bring the food in and set the food up so that everything will be ready for immediate servicing.

Drop offs are perfect for parties and casual events where gatherings are intimate and among friends, where guests can go back for 2nd or 4th servings at their own discretion.

Throwing a shindig and don’t want to worry about a thing?  We can bring your party to the next level with our Full Service Catering option.  We will have experienced, professional staff members, all of which will be dressed in uniform.  Our staff is highly trained and is not your average taco guy!
