OC Zoo
OC Zoo will have a Halloween Animal Art toddler program from 10-11:15 am on October 5, 11, 13, 19 and 21, complete with crafts and encounters with the animals. Additionally, the zoo will be hosting a Halloween Zoo-tacular on October 29th from 10am-4pm. This fun event will include a scavenger hunt, games, crafts, and trick-or-treating. Tanaka Farms
The pumpkin patch at Tanaka Farms is open annually from the end of September through Halloween time. This local family-owned farm is the perfect place to pick your own pumpkin. Check out the wagon ride around the farm, pick your own seasonal produce, meet the animals at the petting zoo, and walk through the corn maze. Come on the weekends for extra festival fun like food, games, and the pumpkin canon.
Pretend City
Costume Week at Pretend City Children’s Museum takes place October 24th-30th this year. On October 30th, Pretend City will be celebrating a “Healthy Halloween.” The Serving Kids Hope organization will be onsite to share fun tips and tricks to help kids eat healthy, even during the holidays! Kids can even come trick or treat in the museum on October 31st.
Orange County Great Park Spooktacular Fundays
The OC Great Park is full of free Halloween fun October 15,16, 22, & 23 during the Great Park Spooktacular Fundays. Fundays feature games, crafts, treats, shows, bounce houses, and a pumpkin patch.
